Discover Ramen Taniseya

When you step into Ramen Taniseya, you’re greeted by the unmistakable aroma of rich broth and fresh ingredients. Nestled in the heart of Tokyo’s bustling Minato City, specifically in the Shinbashi area at 3 Chome−11−1, the restaurant exudes a welcoming vibe that makes it the perfect stop for ramen lovers. Located on the first floor of the イーグル烏森ビル building, Ramen Taniseya offers an authentic and comforting experience that both locals and tourists can enjoy.

As you walk in, the cozy, yet modern interior immediately sets the tone for a satisfying meal. The decor, though minimalistic, ensures that the focus stays where it should: on the food. The space is designed to reflect a traditional Japanese feel while embracing a contemporary twist, making it perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner outing.

What sets Ramen Taniseya apart from other ramen shops in Tokyo is their dedication to quality ingredients and time-tested techniques. Each bowl of ramen is crafted with care, ensuring that the flavors are perfectly balanced. The highlight of their menu is their signature ramen, which features a deep, umami-rich broth made from carefully simmered pork bones and a blend of savory seasonings. The noodles are handmade daily, offering a satisfying chew that complements the broth's depth.

The menu at Ramen Taniseya is a celebration of traditional Japanese ramen, but with a few creative twists. While the classic Tonkotsu ramen is a fan favorite, their Shoyu ramen, which features a soy-based broth, also draws in plenty of loyal patrons. Both are served with perfectly cooked eggs, tender slices of chashu pork, and a generous sprinkle of green onions. The presentation of the dishes is immaculate, with each ingredient placed thoughtfully to enhance both the flavor and the visual appeal.

One of the unique offerings at Ramen Taniseya is their seasonal specials. These limited-time dishes often feature unique flavors or ingredients not typically found in their regular menu. For example, during the colder months, you might find a warming Miso ramen that offers a hearty, savory taste perfect for winter. This level of innovation is what keeps customers coming back time and again, eager to see what new creation the chefs will offer next.

For those looking to try something different, Ramen Taniseya also offers a variety of side dishes, such as gyoza (Japanese dumplings) and rice bowls. The gyoza is crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside, making it an excellent pairing with any ramen bowl. The rice bowls, which feature tender cuts of meat served over steamed rice, are also a great option if you’re feeling particularly hungry.

What makes this ramen restaurant truly special is the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that each guest feels well cared for from start to finish. The service is prompt, but the restaurant never feels rushed, allowing guests to savor their meals at their own pace. Whether you’re a ramen aficionado or a newcomer to this comforting dish, the experience at Ramen Taniseya is something you’ll remember long after the meal is over.

It’s no surprise that Ramen Taniseya has earned rave reviews from both locals and tourists alike. The consistency in the quality of their ramen and the dedication to customer satisfaction has made them a favorite in the area. Whether you're in the mood for a classic bowl of ramen or something with a bit more flair, Ramen Taniseya offers an unforgettable dining experience that’s worth seeking out in the heart of Tokyo.

If you’re planning to visit, be sure to check the hours of operation, as they can get quite busy, especially during lunch and dinner rushes. Luckily, Ramen Taniseya’s location in Shinbashi makes it easy to access, whether you’re exploring the city or staying nearby. The combination of top-notch ramen, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes this a must-try spot for anyone in Tokyo.

  • Had a small wait when we arrived, but the line moved fast. We weren't exactly sure how to order, but staff checked in on us as we were waiting and helped us order. The staff was very friendly once we were inside. Had no problem even though we don't speak or read Japanese. Ramen was very tasty, I would definitely recommend it. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm visiting. The broth was a rich and flavorful. Noodles had the perfect amount of chew and the nori was really good with the broth. Honestly, just writing up this review is making me want to go back tomorrow and have it again

  • The best tonkotsu ramen I had on my latest 2 week trip to many hotspots around Japan. Chilli from the counter is a must have. Delicious depth of flavour. I went back on open the next day (sadly, the day I left too).

  • Super local. Excellent pork ramen. The meat was outstanding. From my 13 year old daughter: Scrumptious noodles. 100/10

  • Very hearty southern style tonkotsu ramen. I found the staff to be pleasant and polite despite other reviewer remarks. There are a lot of tourists who don't understand Japanese etiquette or systems so misunderstandings are inevitable. I thought these guys were incredibly efficient. I came at about 11pm and there were probably around 8 people in line. The wait was only about 10 minutes and ramen was pretty much served as soon as I sat down. They've recently increased their prices slightly and no more free rice but you can get a bottomless bowl of rice for ¥100. Absolute bargain IMO. Ramen is very good.

  • Nice local ramen place. Had to wait a bit but the line moved fast. Even though the ordering vending machine was in Japanese they were kind to help us. The ramen was delicious!
